Facilities Maintenance Worker I- Seasonal, Temporary Readiness -Town of Truckee, CA ($30.27hr - $40.87/hr)

The Town of Truckee is seeking hard-working individuals for a temporary seasonal readiness position with our Public Works Department. The ideal candidate will be able to work when called upon, weekends and holidays under sometimes adverse conditions, must be responsible, and able to work in a skilled and independent manner without close supervision. Some of the duties of this position include snow removal, painting, and general facilities/trails maintenance. This position is a Facilities I entry level position with no previous facilities maintenance experience required. The position is expected to last from early October through March and requires a minimum of a Class C drivers’ license with a commercial Class A/B desirable.

The Readiness position comes with a weekly stipend of $750 to remain on-call. Readiness positions require that you are available to work with 12 hours of advance notice to report to duty. When not performing Facilities maintenance duties, you will remain in on-call Readiness status.
