Operations Manager


Responsibilities include:

  • Under the guidance and supervision of the Public Works Director, the Operations Manager manages day-to-day operations of departmental divisions. This position facilitates orderly and efficient daily operations to ensure work is completed on time and on budget by managing employees and projects. Responsible for supervising and supporting crew leaders and members and for analyzing and reworking operating procedures to maximize efficiency. Assembles procurement documents and issues smaller value purchase orders; conducts employee safety training; tracks expenditures and budget for divisions in the Public Works Department; works with contractors to provide vision and support for Public Works projects; and, responds to customer inquiries and requests. Provides work updates to the Public Works Director and performs other related job duties as assigned. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. A two-year degree in a related field is preferred.


Salary $59,014.54 to $94,423.27. Starting salary is dependent upon qualifications. Excellent Benefits.
