Electrical Apprentice and Teledata Apprentice Scholarship opportunity
The Springfield Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee’s application process is currently open until February 1, 2024. The board will select candidates for scholarship in the spring of 2025 The program includes On the Job Training hours (OJT) and Required classroom hours.
The Springfield Electrical JATC's goal is to provide the highest quality training to those interested in a career in the electrical industry. You will have the chance to use your mind, as well as your physical skills, to complete work in a variety of settings with the constant opportunity to learn something new.
Basic qualifications are as follows:
- Minimum age 17 to apply, 18 to work
- High School Education or GED
- One Year of High School Algebra successfully passed
- Qualifying Score on an Aptitude Test
- Passing a Drug Screen
- Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Resume
- Strong work ethic
- Mechanical ability
- Must live in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin or Berkshire County
