--- Job Description The Construction Permit Technician will be responsible for managing the permitting process to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to secure the necessary permits for construction projects efficiently.
--- Key Responsibilities
· Permit Management: Oversee the preparation, submission, and tracking of construction permits, ensuring timely approval.
· Documentation: Review and compile necessary documents, including site plans, project specifications, and environmental assessments, required for permit applications.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all permits meet local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain awareness of any changes in permitting requirements.
· Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and regulatory agencies to address permit-related questions and resolve issues.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of permits, inspections, and related correspondence.
· Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for permitting inquiries and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in permitting, construction coordination, or a similar role.
· Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, and permitting regulations.
· Skills:
o Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permitting software.
o Problem-solving and attention to detail.
